Need for the customer to convert existing SAP Business Connector interface to SAP XI.

The Benefits Achieved with BC2XI™
Total conversion time of total project was 15 minutes. Estimated time of manual conversion between 5 — 7 workdays for a person with good knowledge of SAP R/3 IDoc interface, SAP Business Connector and SAP Exchange Infrastructure.

Time and money saving was considerable. The BC2XI™ product produced automatically also the interface documentation. Only testing of the converted interface needed to be done manually. There were not discovered any need for changes of the newly generated XI interface.

The BC2XI product
A Business Connector -> XI Migration Tool, BC2XI™, is offered for automatized translation of the BC projects into XI structures. Using the tool you can achieve up to 80% time gain
 

The BC2XI™ tool accepts BC projects as inputs, analyses the components in the project and then generates corresponding XI structures. This translation is achieved using the advanced translation engine which has a number of sophisticated conversion routines that allow for an accurate and optimized output. It also halts the translation and alerts the user if there are alternative ways of generating the output or if the BC project has been badly structured it will be generated in a different style, within XI.
